According to the literature survey it is forecasted that the next industrial revolution is based on smart system which is complex and multi disciplinary digital technologies. The inherent heterogeneity and the close integration of different components pose new challenges. This article investigates such challenges in textile industrial process by discussing the prevalent concepts.
